We made great strides in strengthening
U.S. Cellular’s footprint in 2003. Among our achievements
was exchanging wireless assets with AT&T Wireless.
We traded our Georgia and north Florida markets for new
spectrum in markets adjacent to or overlapping existing
U.S. Cellular operations. We’re now building out
several of those markets and plan to launch service in
2004 in Oklahoma City, Okla.; Lincoln, Neb.; and Portland,
Maine. These markets will broaden our coverage and enhance
the service we provide to our 4.4 million customers –
all in line with our customer satisfaction strategy.
